EAHAD 2018 in Madrid poster

‘Hala Madrid!’

We’re excited to be heading to the home of the Los Blancos and the Spanish capital for the first major event in the haemophilia calendar of 2018 – the European Association for Haemophilia and Allied Disorders (EAHAD) Congress, taking place between 7-9 February at the Palacio Municipal.

Now into its 11th year, the EAHAD Congress brings together internationally renowned experts from a range of clinical specialities, industry and patient advocacy groups in the field of bleeding disorders, to inspire, connect and promote research and education, whilst addressing some of the key issues in the community.

We’re eager to be part of the multidisciplinary conversation and keep pace with the latest advancements in treatment and healthcare delivery, so attending speciality meetings like this are vitally important to us!

What can we expect?

With leading and emerging haematologists, nurses, physiotherapists, scientists and researchers from all over, under one roof, it’s sure to be a busy three days of informative and high-level talks as well as excellent networking opportunities.

This year’s programme covers a range of topics, from inhibitor science and management, to the economics of haemophilia care as well as discussing aspects of physiotherapy and interventions for joint damage. Congress will be rounded off with a focus on new products and emerging technologies, including the ‘SLAM’ quick-fire session, which gives selected delegates a chance to raise awareness of their research and poster abstracts.

The full programme is available here.

If you’re going to be at the Congress, do let us know as we’d love to meet you. Please email us at [email protected] to schedule a meeting time and place.

Also, be sure to follow us on Twitter using @Pulseinsync for updates and any breaking news coming out of EAHAD.

We hope to see many of you there!
